Wow! What an exciting weekend. The Outlaws put on a great show. It kicked off with a B Main at which Bill Eddy lead from the get go and never looked back. Mike Wallace finished second. The most exciting part was watching the 87x and the 75 going at it. Hector in the 87x spun Amanda out but she got him back during the yellow flag laps.
For the last chance race, the 75 car was mirror driving the 14 car so the 14 car finally took out the 75 car after not giving him a lane to race in. The 14 car got screwed on the black flag.
The main event was great to watch even though you don't know what lap you are on. The 58 car lost a wheel to bring out the first caution. The 21 and 33 car banging into each other brought out the second caution. The 36 car was spun out by a driver that I didn't see. I will let him get away with that one. The next group to wreck was caused by Dave Lunds car overheating and spilling all over the track. The 50 car was black flagged for taking out one of the tracks local guys. The 77 car never spun but lost a lot of spots. They didn't let the 50 car back on the track after that. I don't think it was right, that they didn't let him back on the track unless he made a scene to the pit boss. Kyle will just have to tell us. He will just have to take my patience class.
Fourteen cars are left now. The top three were 41,91, and 93. Another caution was brought out due to a leaking car. At this time, the 93 car was leading followed by the 41 car and then the 91 car. The fourth place car which was 79 pushed on the 91 a bit but Gary adjusted his wing and started to put some car lengths between them. It was a surprise to see the checkered flag so soon. Especially, when you don't know what lap your on.
The Outlaws put on one of the best shows. I think it would be better if we had our own officials at times but Brian and Jon can only wear so many hats.
Until next time, keep it between the ditches. Any questions or comments, please email me at napadirk@hotmail.com I will post answers or comments in my next article.
