Josh Wilson & Team ''51'' Strikes Gold in Ephrata! Congratulations to Rookie Josh Wilson for an outstanding job in Winning the ConAgra Foods 75 and taking home that big sack of 700 Potatoes or was that Cash? Either way I understand that Josh likes both, LOL!
Josh Wilson is the Hottest Rookie driver leading the Rookie points over Michael Knutson (#15) by a slim 15 points. After holding off Dave Lund at Southsound Speedway for his first Heat race win a few weeks ago with the Outlaws, I knew it wouldn’t be long before we could see Josh in the Winners Circle!
I believe Josh timed in 5th and finished 5th in his Heat race which would equal a Ten, which would lead to his Win in the Main, does that make since? Probably not but what does make sense is that this Guy knows how to drive a race car! During the ''A'' Main after my car had turned to Sh--, I had one of the best seats in the house to watch all the action. What I saw was a couple of Veterans Mike Easley & Dave Lund trying every thing they could to out run the Rookie in the Red rocket. Through out the race it came down to Josh (#51) and Mike (#75) battling for the Win. As they swap positions, rub paint, and flew through the Lap traffic I could see that Mr. Easley had his hands full with the very Determined Rookie Josh Wilson. Josh kept his Cool and drove like a Veteran for 75 laps and when the checkered flag flew it was Josh taking home his very first Outlaw main event win!
Way to GO Team "51" ! With a set up in the car and a Crew like Matt & Jeff backing Josh, He said the car was a Pleasure to drive and ready for another 75laps! Congrats to Josh and Team "51" for their first Victory of the season,Awesome job Guys! I`ll Dare say,I see another win for Josh coming soon,any guess which track it might be :)?
