Jim Foti won his first ever...

Evergreen Speedway - Press Release:


Jim Foti won his first ever NASCAR Randy’s Ring & Pinion A-Main in the 35 lap main event.


In NASCAR Randy’s Ring & Pinion Bombers A-Main took the green with Mike Ebeling on the pole. Ebeling held the lead into a lap 2 yellow for several cars tangling on the back straight. On the restart, Jim Foti took the lead from Ebeling. Lap 13 saw Jay Poulsen bring out the yellow with a spin on the back straight. Lap 17 saw Jim Downey take second from Ebeling after several laps of furious racing action. Bill Eddy followed Downey through to take over third. Debris on the track brought out the third yellow of the race on lap 19. Foti took the win with Downey in second and Eddy bringing up third.




In the B-Main for NASCAR Randy’s Ring & Pinion Bombers, Nikki Bristol lead the group of eight cars to the line. She was immediately passed by Bill Mann for the lead of lap one. Mann went on win a transfer position to the A Main along with John Burtsche. That left Dirk Kruiswyk as the winner of the B Main. Ryan Hansen took second, with Darrel Lutosky taking third.




Racing continues next Saturday night, April 19th, with NASCAR Super Stocks, NASCAR Randy’s Ring & Pinion Bombers, NASCAR Mini Stocks, FEAR Super Figure 8s, FEAR Extreme Contact Figure 8, a Gauntlet Race, PLUS Easter Egg night! Time trials start at 3:00PM, Heat Races at 5:00PM, and features at 7:00PM.
